Early start at LP for a short coach ride to London Heathrow Terminal 5. Unfortunately the flight was delayed by over 30 minutes, which then had a knock on effect on the rest of the day. Once we had landed in Madrid and met our rep, AD, we went straight to a shopping centre to get some food before heading off to the Riyardh Air Metropolitano Stadium to watch the La Liga match between Atletico Madrid v Celta Vigo. The match ended in a 1-1 draw with Atletico going down to 10 men after just 6 minutes and conceding a harsh penalty in the second half but fought back to claim a point. The atmosphere in the stadium was incredible and unlike anything the students would have witnessed before. We then headed to our hotel for dinner and check in to unpack before going to bed after a long day.
