Day 5 of the tour saw the girls have another late start before heading off to Aqualand Water Park where the girls enjoyed going on the different water rides, flumes and wave machine. The girls spent a good 4 hours there before heading off for their final fixtures of the tour against the same club we played on Saturday only this time it was their B teams (although we did recognise some familiar faces). The U16 girls were in action first and took the lead through a shot from Zara with Diana getting the last touch. Despite dominating possession the girls could not find the important second goal and the opposition hit back with two goals either side of half time. Despite chances to equalise the girls were just not as clinical as their opposition and the final score finished 2-1. The U18 girls were up next and battled hard throughout the game but once again the opposition took their chances better than us. By this point some of the girls were really suffering in the heat particularly those that played a part in both games. The final score finished 4-0 to the opposition. Player of the matches went to Niamh in the U16 game and Flick in the U18 game.
