Day 2 of the tour started with a hearty breakfast before heading to the beach for some paddle boarding. Students were able to have single, double and in some cases 5 people boards with the girls picking it up quickly in the Alboran Sea. Once finished we headed back to the hotel for lunch followed by some free time at the lively hotel pool. The girls then travelled to the same venue that they trained out for their hockey matches against CHP Benalmadena A teams. The U16’s were up first and despite an even first half the girls found themselves 2-0 down at half time. The girls responded well and pulled a goal back through Charlotte C. Despite some really good chances to equalise the the girls couldn’t quite find that elusive goal. The U18’s were up next and defended really well against a very quick and fluent opposition. Charlotte H in goal was incredible making save after save. The score was 1-0 to the opposition going into the final quarter and the girls just ran out of steam in the last quarter conceding a further four goals. It was a great experience for the girls in sweltering conditions.
