LP Girls Can Week was a huge success for the fourth year running our annual event. It was fantastic to have back our OL students Kierah Nabena for (Football, Old Head Girl), Rosanna Collis for (Rugby) and Livvy Edwards for (Netball), they are great role models for the students at LP, inspiring the future generations to come through the school.

Many of the students mentioned how they would like to lead sports sessions for LP Girls Can week in years to come when they leave LP, which is superb to hear the legacy of annual event will continue. The week was filled with numerous sports from Football, Basketball, Rugby, Netball, Croquet and a new sport Baseball. An all-female baseball team called the Belles came in to teach a session, one of the only all-female baseball teams in the U.K. which was a great opportunity for the students to try out a new sport. LP Girls Can Week, is all about trying out new sports, keeping active and enjoying the opportunities for the female students provided. Being confident in your body and encourage one another and being inspired by professional female athletes. We are already looking forward to next years #LPGirlsCanWeek.
