Fryer Football Fryer Hockey Vs Sherfield Senior Girls Hockey

Hockey

On wednesday all the Fryer girls travelled to sherfield. 3 teams played, the A team won their game 2-1, the B team won their game 6-1 and the C team unfortunately lost 2-0. All the girls played extremely well with special mentions going to Rebecca, Miri, Megan, Anna B for receiving players of the match.

The 1XI team were up against holyport this week, they played well and tried to push forward but unfortunately lost 3-1, special mention to Ellie for her goal as well as Tabby for receiving player of the match.

On Thursday the U15 girls played LVS. They showed great teamwork and played very well. They mostly kept the ball at their opponents goal and had kept a strong defence. They finished the game on a great 3-0 win. Players of the match went to Linda and Megan.

Skiing

Monday was a great day for the LP ski team where captain Joe finished 5th in the U16 boys catagory and 9th in all age groups putting him firmly in the top 10 skiers in the country in Llandgraff, aholland where he raced some of the top skiers in the world.

Well done to Louis, Taran and Chris for attending their first ski race and showing excellent performances.

Fryer boys put out 6 teams on Wednesday with every boy representing the school

The A and B teams both played Brockhurst with the A team losing and the B team winning 5-0

A mixed B and C team drew 1-1 with Luckley House A team

Fryer C team won 5-1 against Luckley House with Tom Sands scoring a hat trick

Louis Bannerman marlow was man of the match for Fryer D team as they came from two goals down to win 3-2 against Woodcote House

Fryer E team won 1-0 against Luckley House

Good luck to the U13A team playing this afternoon

Golf

Good luck to Rikhil and Dan who represent LP in the ISGA Southern Open tomorrow in Northants

Team of the week: Special Mention to the fryer boys D team and Matt for a great win v luckley but team of the week goes to the U15 girls for beating LVS 3-0 in their hockey match yesterday.
